OpenWells® Software Features
Over time OpenWells software collects an enormous amount of drilling and well services information. To facilitate the entry and retrieval of this data OpenWells uses a formally defined data model, which structures data areas and defines relationships between data. The user sees the data model structure in the form of the Well Explorer tree and Data Entry Forms. Learning to identify the difference between the types of data entry fields and understanding how to navigate between them can save time in capturing and retrieving data.
To enable a company to capture exactly the information they require in an efficient method, most dialog boxes in OpenWells software contain more than one type of data entry field.
