This topic illustrates the examples of cases where Datums are created in OpenWells® software for Land Wells:

In the following example, is a Land Well where:
the System Datum is Mean Sea Level (MSL) and
the Reference Datum Level (RDL) is Ground Level
The following example is a Land Well where:
the System Datum is Mean Sea Level (MSL)
the Reference Datum Level (RDL) is Rotary Kelly Bushing (RKB)
The following example is a Land Well where:
the System Datum is Low Astronomical Tide, which is 1.5m below Mean Sea Level (MSL) and
the Reference Datum Level (RDL) is Rotary Kelly Bushing (RKB)
