Test Report
The Test section contains data entry fields and calculations for the currently selected test method. This section uses Detail Spreadsheets to record test results.
For information on using spreadsheets, see the Using Spreadsheets and Tables topic.
To record Test Method details and results
Select the Test Method from the picklist. The data entry area changes depending on which of the following Test Method options is selected:
Beam Pump - displays the Beam Pump Tests spreadsheet and Beam Pump Test Details area.
Cavitation Pump - displays the Cavitation Pump Test spreadsheet and Details area.
Flowing Well - displays the Flowing Well Test spreadsheet and Details area.
Swabbing - displays the Swabbing Test spreadsheet and Details area.
Caution: Only one test method can be defined within a Test report. Selecting a Test Method while there is information entered for another Test Method will result in the test results being deleted. A dialog box appears asking the user to confirm this action.
Note: All methods support third-party test measurements to be easily imported into this report.
When the Beam Pump is selected in the Test Method field, the Beam Pump Tests spreadsheet and Beam Pump Test Details area are displayed.
In the Beam Pump Tests spreadsheet, click the Add Row () button to add a row to the spreadsheet. The Beam Pump Test Details area becomes available for data entry.
Enter the Test Date/Time.
If this is a final test, activate the Final Test check box.
Enter the test result values in the appropriate fields. The % Oil, % Water, % Other and Daily Production fields are calculated from the production volumes for each fluid. The Disposed Total is calculated from the disposed volumes entered for each fluid. The spreadsheet summarizes the test details.
Repeat steps 1 to 4 for each test performed with the Beam Pump.
When the Cavitation Pump is selected in the Test Method field, the Cavitation Pump Test spreadsheet and Details area are displayed.
In the Cavitation Pump Tests spreadsheet, click the Add Row () button to add a row to the spreadsheet. The Cavitation Pump Test Details area becomes available for data entry.
Enter the Test Date/Time.
Enter the test result values in the appropriate fields. The spreadsheet summarizes the test details.
Repeat steps 1 to 3 for each test performed with the Cavitation Pump.
When Flowing Well is selected in the Test Method field, a Flowing Well Tests spreadsheet and Details area are displayed.
In the Flowing Well Tests spreadsheet, click the Add Row () button to add a row to the spreadsheet. The Flowing Well Tests Details area becomes available for data entry.
Enter the Test Date/Time.
If this is a final test, activate the Final Test check box.
Enter the test result values in the appropriate fields. The Total Fluid Rate, Water Oil Ratio, Gas Liquid Ratio and Gas Oil Ratio fields are calculated from the volume rate entered for the fluids and gas. The spreadsheet summarizes the test details.
The Percent Impurities Total is the sum of Percent Emulsion and Percent Impurities and Percent Water Separated.
Repeat steps 1 to 4 for each test performed.
When Swabbing is selected in the Test Method field, the Swabbing Tests spreadsheet and Details area are displayed.
In the Swabbing Tests spreadsheet, click the Add Row () button to add a row to the spreadsheet. The Swabbing Tests Details area becomes available for data entry.
Enter the Test Date/Time.
If this is a final test, activate the Final Test check box.
Enter the test result values in the appropriate fields. The spreadsheet summarizes the test details.
The Produced Total is calculated as the sum of Produced Oil, Produced Water, Produced BSW and Produced Mud.
The % Oil, % H2O, %BSW, and % Mud are calculated as ratios of the Produced Total.
Repeat steps 1 to 4 for each test performed.
