Fluid Analysis Section
Test Report
The Fluid Analysis section can be used to define attributes for water, oil and gas sample analysis. The Fluid Analysis section is compatible with the Pressure ASCII Standard (PAS) definitions. This section contains a tab for each of the analysis types:
For information on using spreadsheets, see the Using Spreadsheets and Tables topic.
The Gas tab is used to record Gas Analysis test results. This section contains a Detail Spreadsheet to record detailed information.
Click the Add Row () button to add a row to the spreadsheet.
In the Gas Analysis Details area, select or enter the Analysis Company, Lab File No. and Sample and Analysis Dates in the appropriate fields.
Select the Sample Point Code from the picklist to automatically populate the Sample Point field.
If the test results report liquid hydrocarbon production, activate the Liquid Production check box.
If the test results indicate that hydrogen sulfide is present, activate the H2S check box and enter the percentage found in the sample in the H2S field.
If the results indicate a solution gas, activate the Solution Gas check box and enter the concentration percentages for the gases found in the appropriate fields.
Repeat steps 1 to 6 for each gas sample obtained and analyzed.
The Oil tab is used to record Oil Analysis test results. This section contains a Detail Spreadsheet to record detailed information.
Click the Add Row () button to add a row to the spreadsheet. A Details area appears which has three tabbed panes in which to enter the test results:
Oil Analysis Details
Oil Viscosity Analysis
Oil Distillation Analysis
In the Oil Analysis Details tab, select or enter the Analysis Company, Lab File No. and Analysis Date in the appropriate fields.
Select the Sample Point Code from the picklist to automatically populate the Sample Point field.
Enter the test results in the appropriate fields of the General, Analysis, Distillation and Summary areas on this tab.
Click the Oil Viscosity Analysis tab, click the Add Row () button to add a row to the spreadsheet and enter the viscosity test results in the appropriate columns, adding as many rows as necessary.
Click the Oil Distillation Analysis tab, click the Add Row () button to add a row to the spreadsheet and enter the distillation analysis test results in the appropriate columns, adding as many rows as necessary.
Repeat steps 1 to 6 for each oil sample obtained and analyzed.
The Water tab is used to record Water Analysis test results. This section contains a Detail Spreadsheet to record detailed information.
Click the Add Row () button to add a row to the spreadsheet.
In the Water Analysis Details area, select or enter the Analysis Company, Lab File No. Analysis Date, and Analyst name in the appropriate fields.
Select the Sample Point Code from the picklist to automatically populate the Sample Point field.
Enter the test results in the appropriate fields of the Cations, Anions and Analysis areas on this tab.
Repeat steps 1 to 4 for each water sample obtained and analyzed.
