Status Bar

Navigating OpenWells® Software

Two status bars are supported in OpenWells software. The main application status bar and the Data Entry Form window status bar.

Main Application Status Bar displays the following content:

• current activity for the application (Loading, Ready, etc)

• the Simultaneous Activity Monitor indicator

• currently "viewed" Depth Reference Datum

• currently "viewed" Display Unit System

• the user name of the user currently logged onto the database

Data Entry Forms Status Bar displays the following content:

• the activity status of the Data Entry Form or when a field is selected the fields description as entered in the Data Dictionary

• currently "viewed" Depth Reference Datum

• currently "viewed" Displayed Unit System,

• the reporting standard date and time range

• the user name of the user currently logged onto the database

Note: The View > Status Bar command is used to toggle the Status Bar on and off. A check mark appears next to the menu item when the Status Bar is visible.
