Integrated EDM™ Workflows
Engineer's Desktop
Each EDT™ release provides a set of EDM™ workflows supported by Landmark that demonstrate the full benefit of deploying engineering and data management tools on a single data platform. To review the workflows, navigate to EDM Integrated Workflows located in the installation folder of Landmark Engineer's Desktop™ program group via the Windows Start menu. If you installed the software to the default location, these workflows are found at Start > Landmark Engineer's Desktop > Integrated EDM Workflows.
The Engineer's Desktop (EDT) Drilling applications included in the Integrated EDM Workflows are OpenWells® , COMPASS™ , WELLPLAN™ , CasingSeat™ , StressCheck™ , PROFILE™ , and WELLCAT™ . The following EDM Integrated Workflows for Drilling applications are supported:
Well Planning - A typical workflow that might be used while planning a Well. This workflow is not the only possible workflow that could be used during the planning phase, but rather is representative of a possible scenario.
Survey Sharing - A typical workflow that can be used to compare planned and actual trajectories.
Drilling Planning to Reporting - Typical workflows that begin in PROFILE, StressCheck, or WELLPLAN, and end using OpenWells. In all of these workflows, drilling operation planning data is available to OpenWells after it was input using PROFILE, StressCheck, or WELLPLAN.
Drilling Operations to Analysis - Typical workflows that begin in OpenWells and end using WELLPLAN. In all of these workflows, the drilling operation report data is input into OpenWells and then the data is analyzed using WELLPLAN.
