Well Command

File > New > Well

To create a new Well:

From the Wells or Jobs Tab in the Well Explorer, select the Site in which the new well will be created.
Follow the menu path: File > New > Well

Shortcut Methods: Select the Site in which to create the new Well and click the New button, which now displays a well icon ( ). Or, use the keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+W.

If the Site contains location descriptions the Copy Location Descriptions dialog appears. To copy the location descriptions to the Well Properties dialog click Yes, otherwise click No.

The Well Properties dialog opens. By default, the Well Name is populated by the name of the Site.

Enter information as required. If data is unavailable at the time of creation, enter the data as it becomes available by updating the Well Properties dialog.
