To add a Pit to the Rig Equipment list.
From the Contractors tab in Well Explorer, select the Pits folder in which the new pit will be created.
Follow the menu path: File > New > Pit

Select the Pit folder in which to
create the new pit and click the New
button, which now displays a pit icon ( ). Alternatively,
use the keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+T.
The Pit Properties dialog opens.
Enter information as required. If data is unavailable at the time of creation, enter the data as it becomes available by updating the Pit Properties dialog.
