Engineer's Desktop Licensing

The Engineer’s Desktop™ software suite now supports LAM License expiry notification. This new feature warns users prior to the expiration of their Engineer’s Desktop licenses. The following message appears when a license is about to expire:

Clicking OK allows the application to launch. This message will appear each time you launch the application until the license expires.

By default, the number of days prior to the license expiration is set to 21 days. This can be changed by adding the Windows Environmental System Variable LAM_DAYS2EXPIRE_WARNING_PERIOD and changing the Value to the required number of days.

Each of the EDT applications displays the expiration date of application licenses in the About dialogs. This information is accessed by selecting the About command in the Help menu.
